Job Description

Wasserman Media is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Experiential Operations Manager to join our team of event professionals in delivering best-in-class experiences for our clients. The Experiential Operations Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing experiential activations with new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conception, creation, and transportation of experiential activations
  • Managing all budgets associated with activations
  • Providing secondary assistance to other Experiential Operations Managers and departments as needed
Pre-Event Planning:
  • Create and implement budgets for each event activation
  • Create detailed timelines for team members, vendors, and clients
  • Conduct venue and vendor research
  • Create presentations and proposals for the layout of the event
  • Conceptualize and manage artwork design and production
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, vendors, and other departments
  • Partner with departments to determine technical and logistical needs for event activations
  • Prep activation materials and partner with logistics and operations for deployment
  • Inventory asset management
On-Site Event Management:
  • Assist with the set up and tear down of event activation
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure successful execution of event activation
  • Loading and unloading of event materials
  • Travel to and from event site
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2 years of event production or event management experience required, 5 years' experience preferred
  • General knowledge of A/V/L production equipment
  • Skilled in communicating with a wide degree of people and departments
  • Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Skilled in time management and project management
  • Skilled in active listening and coordination
  • Skilled in making cost-conscious decisions
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite and Google Docs
  • Ability to learn new software easily
  • Skilled in creative thinking and design
  • Ability to develop constructive working relationships
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Ability to supervise a crew of 1-10 people
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
  • Ability to work on multiple events at one time
  • Ability to adapt to new people, demands, and fast-paced environments
  • Ability to travel up to 65% of the time
  • Ability to use power tools and operate forklifts (upon training)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
