  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including those related to engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment to ensure the maintenance team is equipped to handle emerging challenges.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, and hazardous materials. The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols is essential.
