Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney Opportunity

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, is seeking an associate with 2+ years of workers' compensation experience to join its Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the California workers' compensation system and possess superior writing, research, and analytical skills. Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the legal defense of claims from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation.
  • Develop and implement effective defense strategies to minimize liability and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to ensure seamless case management and excellent client service.

Requirements:

  • California bar admission is required.
  • 2+ years of workers' compensation experience.
  • Superior writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Hybrid work arrangements available, with the ability to work primarily remotely in the Los Angeles/Orange County areas.
  • Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $175,000 annually.
