Store Cashier

Position Overview:
As a vital member of Quick Check, the Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service. This position requires a commitment to providing each guest with a friendly and prompt experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to every customer with a positive demeanor.
- Follow all operational guidelines and protocols established by the company.
- Ensure that all merchandise displays, including refrigerated items, are well-stocked and organized.
- Assist with receiving and processing vendor shipments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly store environment, including restrooms and common areas.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles regularly.
- Support the store manager with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Completion of TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certificates is required.
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and prepare shift reports accurately.
- Compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding sales.
- Foster a collaborative work environment by assisting team members as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights between 35 to 50 pounds.
- Capability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and repetitive hand movements.
