Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Apollo Retail. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for maintaining the furniture department at various retail locations, performing in-store tasks, and ensuring the safety of display items.
Responsibilities- Maintain the furniture department at different retail locations
- Perform in-store tasks, including light dusting and vacuuming, making minor repairs to display items, and completing special projects as assigned
- Follow protocols to ensure the safety of all display items in the department
- Complete an in-depth report on the store kiosk at the conclusion of each service call
- Position merchandise and create a customer-ready furniture department
- Utilize the plan-o-gram to ensure furniture is organized correctly and identify any missing items
- Build and develop trust and confidence with store managers through knowledge of Apollo policies and procedures
- Complete furniture assemblies after the service visit as needed
- Participate in projects in other retailers as requested by manager
- Must have own reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to multiple store locations each day
- Must have a basic tool set
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Apollo management team
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift 50 lbs throughout the day
- Must work hours between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday - Friday
- Ability to read diagrams or instructions, process instructions, and use hand tools and power tools
- Must be 18 years or older
- Incentive-based pay for all assemblies
- Project hourly pay based on assignment
- Flexible shift hours
- Paid training
- Paid mileage, travel pay, and hotel accommodations with per diem for travelers when applicable
- Assignments can range from 0-40 hours per week based on volume, how far you are willing to travel, and willingness to accept various other projects offered
- Paid weekly
- W2 Employment
- $22 per hour
