We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant and Unit Coordinator to join our team at Asante. As a key member of our nursing unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist RNs in providing patient care, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs
- Perform a range of clerical, receptionist, and administrative tasks to support the nursing unit
- Facilitate workflow, communication, and transcription of physician orders under RN supervision
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction, and actively participate in patient satisfaction initiatives
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of responsive observations in practice of care
- Provide excellent communication between staff and patients/customers
- Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values
- Completion of an OSBN-approved CNA-2 training program
- Knowledge of medical terminology gained through education or experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous CNA and/or clerical experience required
- CNA 2 certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
