The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist III plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing interventional angiography procedures. This position operates under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and is integral to the Patient Care Team, ensuring that patient outcomes are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care tailored to the needs of individuals undergoing interventional procedures, including basic monitoring and assisting physicians during invasive radiographic tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established protocols to support the interventional radiology team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the objectives outlined in the patient care pathway.
- Completion of an accredited radiological technology program.
- Current licensure and certification in the State of Maryland.
- Preferred registration in a specialized field of expertise, with 2-4 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Valid CPR certification is mandatory.
