Job Summary: We seek an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Enterprise Float Pool Level 3 team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to float to multiple units within our geographic region, bringing your skills and expertise to various departments, including Critical Care, ED, Surgical Services, Medical Surgical, Procedural, Women's Services, and Behavioral Health.
About the Position: In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for assuming responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team, as well as the patient and their family, to identify and meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will also promote optimal health, well-being, and safety through the use of the nursing process and adhere to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
As a member of our Enterprise Float Pool Level 3 team, you will have the opportunity to travel to different facilities within our system, working closely with compassionate and empathetic leaders who prioritize supporting their staff. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care in various settings. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Educational Requirements: To be eligible for this position, you must hold a current state nursing license or an RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact. A Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing is required, while a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Additionally, you must possess BLS certification from the American Heart Association and demonstrate relevant nursing skills and knowledge specific to the unit type or specialty area. Depending on the location, additional certifications may be required based on the specialty.
Salary Information: The salary for this position ranges from $75.00 per hour, with opportunities for evening, night, and weekend differentials. For full-time/part-time positions, 18 months of experience in the unit type/specialty area is required, while PRN roles require 24 months of experience. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for an extra 15% differential for PRN roles. Your total rewards package includes compensation, benefits, retirement, wellness, leave, and other programs designed with your well-being in mind. Payout Opportunity: Individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout upon successful completion of the initial assignment period, subject to change.
