Job Title: Auto Damage Field Appraiser Specialist
Location: Remote Position
Estimated Salary: $72,500 - $77,500 yearly

The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately appraise the value and cost of damage to vehicles, including autos, trucks, and heavy equipment. This involves inspecting, photographing, and assessing the extent of the damage in order to provide a comprehensive estimate for repairs.

About the Job:
This is a remote position that requires moderate supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing appraisals to completion, providing quality customer service, and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards and state-specific regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and appraise damage to vehicles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide timely and effective communication with claims adjusters and insureds throughout the appraisal process.
  • Evaluate claims for subrogation and salvage recovery potential, documenting and communicating findings as necessary.
  • Apply established appraisal protocols and metrics to all estimates, documenting rationale for any deviations from standard procedures.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Auto Physical Damage
  • Body shop experience and/or familiarity with the field appraiser/insurance industries
  • Catastrophe appraisal experience preferred
