Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will:

  • Utilize company technology to manage and complete various maintenance work orders as assigned.
  • Assist in unit turnovers as directed.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders, documenting details in the tracking system.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests, which may include on-call duties.
  • Maintain necessary certifications for the role.
  • Uphold company standards for community maintenance.
  • Perform additional related tasks as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of one year of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge in plumbing and/or electrical systems.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes.
  • A commitment to providing excellent resident experiences through respectful communication and timely repairs.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements

This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates should be able to perform tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments.
