The Facilities Maintenance Technician will:
- Utilize company technology to manage and complete various maintenance work orders as directed.
- Execute unit turnovers as instructed by the Community leader.
- Ensure timely completion of work orders and maintain detailed documentation in the tracking system.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests within the district, which may involve on-call duties.
- Maintain necessary certifications for the role.
- Uphold company standards in maintaining community facilities.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of maintenance experience.
- Knowledge in plumbing and/or electrical systems.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A strong understanding of maintenance and repair processes.
- A commitment to providing excellent resident experiences through respectful communication and quality service.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
This position requires:
- Extensive walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good hearing, seeing, and speaking abilities with reasonable accommodations.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors across various community settings, including residential areas and maintenance facilities.
