**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Aerotek. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance work orders on equipment according to schedule.


**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work orders on equipment according to schedule.
  • Maintain, organize, and control inventory supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Collate effective data such as pressures, temperatures, rpm, etc.
  • Identify threads, understand torque values, machine fits, etc.
  • Perform basic welding and welding procedures (preheat temperatures, etc).


**Requirements**

  • Principles of hydraulics.
  • Mid-level mechanical skills.
  • Experience of basic welding and welding procedures.
  • Hard Skills: Hydraulic Systems, Preventive and corrective maintenance.


**Work Environment**

This is a fully on-site position in a forging environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a VERY HOT environment and have the opportunity for overtime.
