Your Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will engage with Ramboll's extensive range of projects within the Site Solutions and litigation sectors. You will play a pivotal role in addressing complex environmental investigation, remediation, and litigation initiatives across various industries throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to soil, groundwater, surface water, and soil gas to assess chemical presence in environmental media.
  • Providing on-site technical support for investigation and remediation projects.
  • Comprehending federal, state, and local environmental regulations concerning soil, groundwater, waste, air quality, and water quality, and preparing relevant plans, permits, and reports.
  • Creating scopes of work and implementation plans for field activities.
  • Drafting reports and deliverables for client and regulatory agency review.

Your Team

You will be integrated into Ramboll's Environmental and Health department, collaborating closely with Project Managers and fellow Consultants on various Site Solutions and litigation projects. This role also offers the chance to engage in a diverse array of environmental investigation, remediation, compliance, health and safety, sustainability, and due diligence projects across the Midwest and the United States.

About You

  • A minimum of a BA/BS in Geology or Engineering; a Master's Degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • Licensed Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 3+ years of experience in Environmental Consulting or Geology.
  • OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) certification with current 8-hour annual refresher training.
