About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Response Team. As a key member of our Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests, including in-house and point-of-care tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans and anesthetic care for patients.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- Support the veterinary team in managing patient care workload and ensuring uncompromised care.
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician or equivalent clinical experience.
- Previous veterinary experience required, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain composed and adapt to stressful situations.
