Veterinary Technician

About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Veterinary Medicine team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of veterinary medical principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and support to our emergency veterinary team
- Assist in the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by our veterinarians
- Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
- Perform various medical procedures, including phlebotomy and radiography
- Monitor and maintain patient vital signs and report any changes to our veterinarians
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, preferably in emergency medicine
- CVT certification or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of veterinary medical principles and procedures
