About the Role
Foster Family Care Specialists play a critical role in supporting foster youth and their families. As a FFT Family Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the Family Therapist and DCF to provide home-based services, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop relational and risk analyses within the family system.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes a competitive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.

Responsibilities:
• Provide home-based services, working closely with the Family Therapist and DCF to support foster youth and their families.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each family.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including DCF and other community agencies, to ensure effective intervention strategies and support for clients.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in case management or related services.
• Experience in family systems, complex family dynamics, and providing in-home services. Knowledge in home-based therapy, child welfare systems, attachment theory, and family therapy models.
