Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech in Vandalia, IL. As a Rad Tech - CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using CT and X-Ray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify and document patient information, including consents, orders, and screening forms.
  • Determine the portion of the body to be imaged and position patients for radiologic exams.
  • Follow proper policy and protocol for procedures as outlined in protocol guides and hospital policy.
  • Keep work areas neat and clean, and maintain equipment through routine cleaning and operations checks.
  • Perform exams by setting, adjusting, manipulating, and controlling department-specific equipment.
  • Position patients and various body parts for radiologic exams.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong CT experience, with no certification required.
  • Previous travel experience.
  • ARRT certification, with no CT certification required.
  • Experience working with all patient populations.
  • Trauma experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Work history.
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty.
  • 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed.
  • Candidates must have a permanent address outside of a 50-mile radius.

Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT.
  • BLS (AHA).

State License Requirements:

  • Illinois.

Additional License Requirements:

  • Must be active.

Weekend Requirements:

  • Every other weekend with holiday rotation.

On Call Requirements:

  • No call.
