Production Manager

Imerys is seeking a dedicated Production Manager to lead the operational functions of our mining and beneficiation production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a safe and productive work atmosphere, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and driving continuous enhancements in product quality and operational efficiency to achieve manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Oversee Quality Control processes for mica production.
  • Facilitate training and provide support to Operators.
  • Manage necessary data entry and reporting tasks.
  • Supervise the activities of Operators, Maintainers, and Mine personnel.
  • Promptly address any safety issues that arise.
  • Maintain production rates effectively.
  • Document and report on shift performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate productivity challenges.
  • Engage in workplace inspections and safety discussions.
  • Monitor and analyze work crew performance trends.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
