Position Overview:
Avera is actively seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) dedicated to providing exceptional care in our patient-centered environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility and accountability for delivering primary healthcare, medical management, and patient education in collaboration with a supervising physician. Physician Assistants operate under the regulations applicable in their state of practice.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program is required.
• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant and the ability to practice in South Dakota is mandatory.
• Federal and State DEA certification is essential for practice in South Dakota.
• National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
Work Schedule:
• Varied shifts
• 48 hours per 2 weeks
