The estimated salary range for this Radiology Technologist position in Washington, DC is $40.00 - $72.00 per hour.
Job Description
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform CAT Scan studies, obtain patient histories, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns. Your role includes performing various CT techniques and examinations such as abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetrics and gynecology scans, radiation therapy localization for treatment planning, and minor surgical procedures. You will be responsible for requesting and ordering supplies to maintain necessary stock, evaluating completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered, and ensuring high-quality images. Additionally, you will select and operate equipment as directed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
1. CT experience or completion of a certified CT program
2. ARRT or NMTCB license
3. Basic Life Support (BLS)
4. Associate's degree
5. Ability to communicate effectively with patients
6. Attention to detail
7. Problem-solving skills
