Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The George Washington University Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic environment that fosters positive patient outcomes.
Job SummaryUnder the direction of our Imaging Lead or Manager, you will provide general diagnostic imaging services, ensuring exceptional care and safety for patients, staff, and yourself. Your expertise will be valued as you contribute to maintaining equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner to promote the services offered at the facility.
- Demonstrate radiation protection/safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A high school graduate or equivalent degree.
- A diploma from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Radiology Technologist, with acute care experience preferred.
- A valid BLS certification via the American Health Association.
- An active American Registry of Radiology Technologist (AART) license.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
