We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at DHR Health. Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Implement physician orders in a safe and accurate manner, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Assist with admitting, discharging, and transferring patients, maintaining accurate records of nursing actions.
- Participate in health/therapeutic counseling, teaching, and emotional support for patients and significant others.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and colleagues, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Administer medication and therapies within the scope of safe nursing practice, formulating and modifying patient care plans as needed.
- Assume responsibility for reporting clinical limitations or the need for assistance to the supervisor, performing other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Current registered nurse's license in the State of Texas, with ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- Ability to practice nursing as described by the American Nurses Association (2016), utilizing the best nursing process in the provision of nursing care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Flexibility in schedule to meet unit needs, with willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
This position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing patient needs and maintaining a positive work environment.
