Position Overview

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany is dedicated to providing assistance to individuals and families in need, irrespective of their background or circumstances. We operate through various regional and service-oriented branches, striving to make a positive impact in the community.

We are seeking a Case Worker to join our Housing Office. In this role, you will be instrumental in:

  • Supporting the Case Manager in delivering essential services
  • Conducting assessments, developing service plans, maintaining progress notes, and facilitating skill-building initiatives
  • Collaborating with the Case Manager to evaluate caseload details
  • Documenting all casework activities for clients
  • Administering and/or reviewing psychosocial evaluations for new program referrals
  • Organizing and leading support groups, as well as social and recreational events

Compensation:

Minimum Salary: $19.00 per hour

Maximum Salary: $19.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12pm-8pm

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in working with senior populations
  • Experience with diverse communities
