LTSS Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LTSS Coordinator to join our team at the State of Maryland. As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in facilitating streamlined access to pre-Medicaid, Medicaid long-term care, and Medicare counseling services.

• Assist in the coordination of pre-Medicaid and No Wrong Door services, promoting awareness and developing a quality assurance and sustainability plan.
• Support the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) program manager with administrative functions related to grant management.
• Assist Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries with accessing their benefits, creating training materials, and providing technical support to SHIP counselors.
• Develop and maintain databases to ensure the integrity of data collection related to SHIP team members, counseling sessions, and outreach activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Two years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for a non-profit or government organization providing aging services, as well as those with experience in project management and assisting with Medicare and/or Medicaid Waiver programs and services.
