LTSS Coordinator

Join the State of Maryland team as an LTSS Coordinator, playing a vital role in facilitating access to long-term services and support for Maryland's older adult populations.

The LTSS Coordinator will work closely with the Maryland Department of Aging to streamline access to pre-Medicaid, Medicaid long-term care, and Medicare counseling services. This role requires strong communication and coordination skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement in current systems.

• Assist in the redesign of the current pre-Medicaid program and the No Wrong Door system in Maryland to increase capacity and streamline access to services and supports.
• Facilitate meetings and workgroups with internal staff and external stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in current systems.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and sustainability plans to build provider capacity and reduce waitlist times.
• Support the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) program manager with administrative functions related to grant management of the SHIP program.
• Assist Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries with accessing their benefits and provide technical support to SHIP counselors.

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Two years of administrative staff or professional work experience.
• Experience working for a non-profit or government organization providing aging services is preferred.
