Vocational Nursing Specialist

Our state-of-the-art inpatient facility accommodates 22 clients, providing them with tailored and compassionate care from our dedicated team. We take pride in our newly renovated environment, designed to support both our clients and staff.

Available Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal candidates must possess a valid nursing license. As a Vocational Nursing Specialist, you will oversee clients undergoing detoxification, ensuring compliance with all medical protocols and documentation. Candidates should be prepared to undergo a drug screening, TB test, and physical examination.

  • Supervise both licensed and non-licensed personnel in the daily provision of patient care.
  • Assess and document residents' physical and emotional well-being through medical records and nursing notes.
  • Administer nursing care in accordance with physicians' directives, care plans, and established standards.
  • Prepare and manage medications as prescribed by physicians, adhering to nursing standards and facility policies.
  • Maintain accurate charting, record-keeping, and care plans in line with established protocols.
  • Deliver exceptional individualized care to residents.

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email; familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to the principles of recovery and continuity of care, demonstrating respect and consideration for clients.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
