We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Attorney to join our team at Microsoft Corporation. As a Corporate Attorney, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and counsel to our clients, executing routine to moderate-impact legal matters, and supporting higher-level attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Execute routine to moderate-impact legal matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements, and conducting legal research.
- Support higher-level attorneys on complex legal matters, including reviewing and revising documents, and providing guidance on legal issues.
- Identify and anticipate legal risks in clients' businesses, and propose solutions to mitigate future risk.
- Interact with outside counsel and other service providers to address and resolve project-specific issues.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate Degree or Equivalent International Degree.
- Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction and capable of meeting admission requirements in relevant jurisdiction.
- 3+ years experience as a practicing attorney.
- Additional Or Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year(s) experience as an attorney in specialized practice area (e.g., tax, employment, copyright).
What We Offer
Microsoft Corporation offers a competitive salary range of USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year, depending on location. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
