We invite current nursing students and recent graduates to apply for our RN Residency Program at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This program provides an excellent opportunity to gain real-world acute care experience under the guidance of preceptors, mentors, and clinical educators.
As a Providence RN, you will be part of a comprehensive health care organization that serves more people, advances best practices, and continues its more than 100-year tradition of serving the poor and vulnerable.
Our RN Residency Program is designed to provide the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty. You will learn through a combination of structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experience guided by experienced preceptors.
Key Highlights:
- Gain real-world acute care experience under the guidance of preceptors, mentors, and clinical educators.
- Participate in a comprehensive RN Residency Program that provides the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in area of specialty is preferred upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
