Role Overview: In the capacity of a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will assist assembly operations by evaluating workflows, optimizing facility layouts, refining processes, and estimating expenses. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Improving product flow through Kaizen initiatives, facility reconfigurations, and assembly cell design
  • Creating cost projections for new product introductions
  • Conducting time and motion analyses to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement and labor efficiency
  • Applying 5S principles to organize work areas and enhance visual management, fostering a safer and more productive work environment
  • Leading and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing setup durations, boosting equipment utilization, and elevating overall operational effectiveness
  • Assuming additional tasks as assigned by management

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting
  • Expertise in facility layout and product flow assessment
  • Experience with line balancing and one-piece flow assembly line design
