About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Lotus Technology Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and product development, with a focus on creating innovative and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex engineering components and systems, including Active Safety components and ADAS components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and support in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned parts and systems.
- Prepare, check, and issue 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, calculations, and analysis to confirm prototype parts compliance with drawing specifications.
- Work with suppliers to evaluate technical proposals and write technical reports.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Over 5 years of experience in engineering design and product development.
- Proficiency in CATIA V6 and ability to design plastic and sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
