As an Occupational Therapy Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' recovery and well-being.

Under the guidance of a Registered Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining their independence by helping them perform daily tasks after an illness or injury. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Collaborate with the registered therapist to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Skill Development and Training: Guide patients through exercises and activities designed to improve their motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities.
  • Adaptive Techniques and Equipment: Introduce patients to adaptive techniques and assistive devices that can enhance their daily functioning.
  • Lifestyle Modifications: Provide education and support to patients on lifestyle modifications that promote physical fitness and overall health.

Training and Certification:

This rewarding opportunity offers comprehensive training and certification through a structured program. You will have access to:

  • Eight nationally recognized certifications to enhance your credentials.
  • A two-phase training program, with the first phase lasting 18 weeks and the second phase lasting 16 weeks (paid).

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following basic eligibility requirements:

  • Age: Between 17 and 35 years old.
  • Medical, Moral, Physical: Possess good health, strong moral character, and meet all physical requirements.
  • Citizenship: Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
