Oahu Country Club is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all components of the irrigation system, including minor servicing of the main and booster pump stations and wells.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Repair Irrigation System: Ensure the efficient operation of the irrigation system, including pipe, sprinkler, and valve installation and repair.
  • Assist in Equipment Operation: Assist the Equipment Operator and Section Person in their duties as needed.
  • Support Grounds Maintenance: Assist in all in-house construction and renovation projects, including irrigation and drainage work.
  • Apply Fertilizers and Pesticides: Apply a variety of fertilizers and pesticides on all turf and landscape areas using various application equipment.
  • Train and Develop Skills: Receive training on Hawaiʻi Commercial & Private pesticide application licensed techniques, Integrated Pest Management, time-management, project preparation & completion, and managing golf course playing surfaces with irrigation and application techniques.
