The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
