Job Title: Senior Manager

Miller Kaplan Arase LLP is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Tax department. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our tax professionals, attracting new business to the firm, and ensuring that our tax processes adhere to state regulations and local procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor tax professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new business to the firm and grow our tax practice.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the tax department and ensure that all tax filings and related matters are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide constructive feedback and performance evaluations to tax professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure that our tax processes are compliant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
  • CPA or Bar certification.
  • Eight+ years of public accounting experience with a tax focus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
  • Significant supervisory experience.
