Production Assembler

We are excited to announce a Contract opportunity for a Production Assembler to become a vital part of our team at Tad PGS. This role is essential for our operations and will be based in a dynamic work environment.

Compensation: $18.50 to $20.00 per hour

As a Production Assembler, you will contribute to our success by performing various tasks related to the assembly, painting, inspection, and testing of fractional horsepower fans, blowers, and modules. This includes handling wiring connections and assembling both electrical and mechanical subcomponents. Your skills in soldering, particularly with circuit boards and box soldering, will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble final products from electrical and mechanical subcomponents by adhering to detailed drawings and work instructions while ensuring compliance with in-process inspection standards.
  • Execute a variety of assembly tasks, including operating equipment for mechanical subcomponent assembly, magnetizing, soldering wires and components, and conducting part inspections.
  • Interpret part drawings and engage in discussions for process improvements with technical support teams.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve departmental challenges.
  • Utilize basic measuring tools to assess parts, applying fundamental math and algebra as necessary for equipment setup and comprehension.
  • Uphold established standards for quality, productivity, and attendance.
  • Document work performed and any defects identified during the assembly process.
  • Conduct product and performance testing, ensuring accurate recording of results.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
  • Take responsibility for both individual and team success.
  • Be prepared to work overtime as needed and perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience, with on-the-job training provided.
  • Experience in soldering is advantageous.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
