Analytical Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to support laboratory operations at Element Materials Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting metal analysis using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GF-AA) techniques and contributing to the development of new analytical methods.

• Conduct Accurate Metal Analysis: Perform precise metal analysis using GF-AA techniques to ensure accurate results.
• Develop New Analytical Methods: Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Laboratory Records: Keep accurate records of all performed procedures to support implementation of ISO / IEC 17025:2005 in the laboratory.
• Ensure Laboratory Safety: Maintain good laboratory housekeeping and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards are adhered to.
• Perform Analytical Testing: Conduct all analytical testing for samples, recording and updating results in LIMS.
• Maintain Laboratory Equipment: Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and a clean and safe working environment is maintained.

• Education: Graduation in microbiology or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Good communication skills, self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills.
