Position Overview:

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Analytical Chemist to enhance our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will primarily focus on conducting metal analyses utilizing Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GF-AA) techniques while also contributing to the innovation of new analytical methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute precise and accurate metal analyses through Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GF-AA) methods.
  • Support the development and validation of novel analytical techniques, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all procedures performed, aiding in the implementation of ISO / IEC 17025:2005 within the laboratory.
  • Uphold excellent laboratory housekeeping practices and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Conduct all necessary analytical testing on samples, diligently recording and updating results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Oversee the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Self-driven team player with exceptional organizational skills.
