We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.

Scope of Work

As an Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will provide therapy to patients based on their individual needs and medical direction. You will also provide patient/caregiver education and arrange for adaptive equipment as needed.

You will perform evaluation procedures to assess the level of disability with regard to scope of practice, goals, and a plan of treatment, and make appropriate recommendations.

You will provide a treatment program and education to restore and return maximal function to the patient. You will assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify goals/treatment methods as needed to meet changing needs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited speech therapy program
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a related field
  • CRT-Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited speech therapy program
  • Doctorate from an accredited speech therapy program
