About the Role

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Bronx, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities.
  • Respond to and provide assistance with cardiopulmonary arrests.
  • Maintain all respiratory equipment.
  • Provide Respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function.
  • Administration and monitoring of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service's scope of practice.
Requirements
  • An associate degree in Applied Science and Respiratory Therapy, Bachelor's preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Program or Certificate of completion from an AMA accredited program.
  • A current NY State Respiratory Therapist License.
  • RRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Current BLS by the American Heart Association or Red Cross required, ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum of one year preferred.
