Job Title: Software/Hardware Project Manager

At the National Security Agency, we are seeking a highly skilled Software/Hardware Project Manager to join our team of experts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers to identify technical needs and develop requirements
  • Assess and track software/hardware system requirements and project status
  • Lead projects through full life cycle development in an Agile software environment
  • Identify and track project milestones
  • Plan and allocate resources
  • Project costs and schedules
  • Articulate project status to decision makers and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software development, hardware systems architecture, or project management
  • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle, requirement elicitation/assessment/tracking, system/software design, software development, system acquisition/assembly, testing, implementation, and deployment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or DAWIA certifications
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
