Job Summary

The Pool Service Technician will provide consistent quality pool cleaning and maintenance service, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients for Poolwerx Sarasota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pool Maintenance and Cleaning: Check water chemistry and balance pool water through the addition of the appropriate chemicals, maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, cleaning tiles, and emptying baskets of debris.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and minor programming of pool equipment.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and nurture customer relationships, document visits in the company CRM, and leave visit reports for clients.
  • Pool Management: Maintain and clean 80-90 residential pools on a weekly basis, generally 15 to 20 per day, with an expected workweek of 35 to 40 hours depending on the condition of the pools and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year minimum experience preferred.
  • Availability: Must have availability to work Monday to Friday.
  • Physical Demands: Must be over 21 with a clean driving record (no recent major accidents or infringements) due to company auto insurance requirements, and capable of lifting to 50 lbs. plus and conducting physical labor in the Florida heat and weather.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer relationship building and communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work well independently while exhibiting team-oriented behaviors.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred but not required, and a valid driver's license.
