Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients with cancer, including administration of medications and treatments specific to cancer care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices, guidelines, and research in oncology nursing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Current RN license to practice in Texas.
- Experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a clinic setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- OCN certification and Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate of added qualification preferred.
