Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Johns Creek. As a Police Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining public safety and upholding the law in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to ensure public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance to citizens
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support investigations
  • Build strong relationships with community members and stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
Requirements
  • US Citizen
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • 21 years of age (no age limit)
  • No felony convictions
  • No marijuana use in the last three years
  • No illegal drug usage
  • Possess a valid Georgia Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record or able to get a Georgia Class C driver's license prior to your hire date
  • Strong moral character and commitment to ethical policing
  • Physical fitness and agility test
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism
