Job Overview

National HME, Inc. is a leading provider of durable medical equipment services with over 50 branch locations across the country.

We are currently seeking highly skilled and reliable Medical Service Technicians to join our team in Austin, TX.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position that involves driving a company vehicle, delivering and setting up equipment, and providing excellent customer service.
  • The average pay for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely driving and maintaining company vehicles (16-foot box trucks or vans)
  • Ensuring compliance with DOT and FDA regulations related to oxygen and DME
  • Daily delivery routes and supply lists
  • Delivering, unloading, and setting up equipment to full functionality
  • Providing basic equipment operation training to patients and caregivers
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A current state-issued driver's license required
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check (MVR) with no major violations in the past 5 years
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Clean background check and drug screen results
  • Physical ability to lift and carry machinery and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
