Position Overview
Our client, a healthcare facility with over 150 beds, is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services.


Key Responsibilities
The registered Sonographer will be responsible for delivering ultrasound services efficiently and effectively across various patient settings. This includes:

  • Verifying patient and procedural details.
  • Preparing patients for examinations and educating them along with their families.
  • Conducting ultrasound exams and processing imaging results.
  • Communicating findings to physicians and organizing data for radiologists.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in exam rooms.
  • Assisting with scheduling and transporting patients as needed.

The registered Sonographer will also engage in ongoing professional development through departmental training and educational programs.


Qualifications
Applicants must possess certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ideally holding at least one advanced certification, with a preference for two. Additionally, Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required within a week of employment.
