Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams with minimal supervision. You will obtain history, set the correct parameters on the equipment, and obtain images for analysis and interpretation by radiologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide variety of general, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts ultrasound procedures in compliance with ultrasound protocol.
  • Ensure a secure and safe patient and work environment.
  • Provide technical support for smooth and efficient operation of the Ultrasound Department.
  • Responsible for staying abreast of the latest ultrasound developments and obtaining required CMEs to uphold registry or registration.
  • Documentation of patient history and images for analysis and interpretation.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Ultrasound.
  • Registered in either Abdomen or OB and must be registered within one year of hire.
  • RVT registry is a plus.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
