Primary Objective: This dual-function role necessitates the operation of company transportation vehicles while also engaging in warehouse and tank farm operational tasks as instructed. All responsibilities must adhere to relevant federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and regulations. Professional interaction with clients and business associates is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport hazardous materials and waste, ensuring all inspections and documentation related to hazardous materials and waste transport are completed.
  • Guarantee the safety and compliance of all loads.
  • Utilize the onboard Samsara e-Logging Device to manage appropriate driver duty statuses and optimize freight delivery routing.
  • Employ the ePOD device to accurately document customer delivery acknowledgments and other pertinent shipment records.
  • Execute all other necessary tasks to ensure successful deliveries and pickups for clients.

Qualifications/Experience/Training/Certifications:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, counting, understanding, and speaking English.
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL license (with HazMat and Tanker endorsements).
  • Capability to utilize and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
  • Must be at least 22 years of age.
  • A minimum of 12 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last three years.
  • Experience with SAMSARA or equivalent electronic logging devices.
  • Experience in transporting BULK HAZMAT products and perishable goods.
  • Ability to operate a tractor-trailer under various conditions (e.g., highway, local roads, city, rural areas, and tight spaces).

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions/Other Criteria:

  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying at least 100 pounds, maneuvering 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly, and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Must pass the company's drug screening.
  • Must meet all DOT physical qualifications to obtain and maintain a CDL-A.
  • May be required to handle potentially hazardous materials.

Work Environment:

  • Indoor/Outdoor settings.
  • 1st Shift - Start time between 3:30-4:30 am.
