At Wawa, we are seeking an exceptional Executive Store Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving store profitability and growth, while ensuring exceptional customer and associate experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the management team to achieve organizational objectives, store goals, and profit targets by executing financial plans, managing expenses, and optimizing revenue streams.
- Manage store finances, including analyzing income statements, cash management procedures, and inventory control to maximize sales and reduce waste.
- Ensure store conditions meet or exceed standards for safety, service, and operational efficiency by analyzing opportunities and executing established policies and procedures.
- Develop and lead a highly engaged team, providing training, coaching, and performance management to drive associate growth and retention.
- Foster a positive shopping experience for all customers, responding to complaints, soliciting feedback, and creating plans to consistently meet customer expectations.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor allocation to cover customer and business demands in a 24/7 environment.
- Build relationships with community partners to drive store connections and leverage organizational resources to achieve business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in retail, food service, or fuel environments, with a strong track record of driving sales growth, managing expenses, and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
- Leadership experience in change management, with a proven ability to effectively implement change and drive results.
- Ability to relocate as needed.
As an Executive Store Leader at Wawa, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth, develop your leadership skills, and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$78,000, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Additionally, our associates are eligible for monthly bonus incentives and extensive benefits, including health benefits, ESOP, 401(k), Education Assistant Program, and store discounts.
