Insero Talent Solutions is seeking an Information Security Manager for a manufacturing organization.

Core Responsibilities

Protects the integrity of information system assets by identifying and addressing potential and existing security threats.

Key Duties

Secures systems by establishing access rights, control frameworks, and resource allocations.

Identifies issues by detecting irregularities and reporting breaches.

Adopts a proactive stance in enhancing security measures by evaluating the current landscape, analyzing trends, and forecasting needs.

Acts as a secondary support for the Systems Administrator.

Identifies security breaches and inefficiencies through regular audits.

Enhances systems by implementing and sustaining security measures.

Keeps stakeholders informed by generating performance reports and communicating system conditions.

Ensures quality service by adhering to organizational standards.

Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge by participating in educational sessions and reviewing relevant literature.

Contributes to team objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary.

Effectively communicates with clients, technical specialists, and all management levels.

Qualifications (required or preferred):

  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Systems Administration is essential.
  • Proficiency in System Administration, Network Security, Problem Solving, Information Security Policies, Process Enhancement, and Firewall Management.
  • Additional knowledge of Network Protocols, Routers, Hubs, and Switches in relation to network security is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, NIST 800-53, DFARS, ITAR, GDPR, CUI, and IP.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and be adept at troubleshooting and prioritizing needs and issues.

Prospective candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities.
