Position Overview


Xylem is seeking a Service Technician to operate from our Waynesboro, GA branch, providing service for our equipment at various customer locations in the vicinity.

Daily Responsibilities of a Service Technician

The Service Technician will be tasked with the installation, servicing, and upkeep of our water purification systems. Specific training related to the equipment will be provided. We are open to training the right candidate, although prior technical, mechanical, or plumbing experience is highly valued.

This role generally follows day shift hours, with opportunities for overtime and a compensated on-call rotation that may include occasional afternoons or weekends.

Position Requirements for Service Technicians

- High School diploma or equivalent

- One year of work experience preferred

- 0-2 years of technical experience preferred; experience in industrial or commercial process water is a plus

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices

- Ability to excel in a customer-facing role

- Capability to identify and address potential safety issues

- Must pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening

- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

$39,000 - $63,000.00
